Library Lending
Lending Policies for Other Libraries
Adler University Library lends to all non-profit libraries within the United States. We do not accept requests from individual patrons. If you are interested in borrowing materials from our collection, please contact the library with which you are affiliated or your local public library. If you have any questions regarding our lending policies, billing, or need help with establishing an ILL account, please call 312-662-4238.
Submitting Requests
We accept requests from other libraries through ILLiad and OCLC. Non-OCLC libraries may register and requests though our ILL system. We also accept requests through mail, e-mail, or fax.

Loan Period and Renewal
The loan period is 4 weeks. Renewals are granted for another 4 weeks, if there is no recall for that item. A maximum of 3 renewals is permitted.
Charges
Reciprocal borrowers: No charges.
Non-reciprocal borrowers: We charge you what you charge us.
Rush Requests:
Available upon request at the borrower's expense. Please contact us via email before 12 PM Central time.Payment:
OCLC IFM or Check.
Damaged or Lost Item
All damaged or lost items will be billed at the replacement cost plus $10 processing fee.
Shipping
We ship loans by USPS and ILDS. For libraries requiring other delivery methods such as UPS or FedEx, please provide your account number for billing.
We deliver photocopies via Odyssey, Article Exchange, email, fax or regular mail as requested.
